Hadi School Student’s won the Poetry Contest

Juwairiyah wrote an acrostic poem about the Earth in celebration of Earth Day. She entered her poem, "EARTH", into the Creative Communication's Spring 2013 Poetry Contest. Alhamdulillah, she was selected as a high merit poet and the poem was chosen for publication. Only the top entries in each category were chosen to be published. Congratulations Juwairiyah for a job well done.!

Summer Enrichment Program for Math & reading: Ages 7 to 10 years

AVOID THE “SUMMER SLIDE”- Research shows that students can return to school in the fall at least a month behind, on average, where they were in the spring due to a summer slide. Summer enrichment program like this one can help combat this summer learning loss. Hadi School is pleased to offer summer enrichment program by a qualified professional instructor for students’ ages 7 to 10 years from 8:30am to 11:30am. The focus will be on enrichment in reading and math. This program also includes Qur’an class from the Shaikh Javad and Karate class form the grandmaster Kim.

Summer Camp: Ages 3 to 6 years

At Hadi School, we believe that children deserve quality care no matter which time of the year it is. For that reason, Hadi School is offering another fun packed summer camp in 2013. This camp is geared towards children ages 3 to 6 years old. The camp is safe, educational, and fun in an Islamic environment. The students will recite Qur’an a Kareem and have fun craft activities that are thematic based. The last two weeks of the second session will be a Ramadan Theme with activities that involve the Holy month of Ramadan. In addition to that, this year we are offering karate classes to spark excitement among our young campers. The seats are limited to first come first serve so please register today!

Inter-Islamic School Math Bowl

Dear Parents,

Assalam Alaikum,

I wanted give you an update regarding the Inter-Islamic School Math Bowl that we organized for the very first time. Alhamdullah the program was a huge success. The program began and ended on-time with over 100 students from different Islamic school who participated in both individual and group activities. I am very proud to inform you that students from Hadi School were the winners.

The following students walked away with a trophy in the individual test:

• Third place in 2nd grade:  Ruqaya Razvi
