TreeRing Green Yearbook School


EXPLORAVISION CLUB - Exploravision is a national competition where students get to design technology for the future. Students will invent an item that will be used 20 years from now and write an extensive research papaer regarding the technology and what is necessary to make this invention a reality. This club will be held on Monday's (unless there is no school) beginning Oct. 20th  through Feb. 2nd  from 3:30-4:25pm (should students win Regionals, the club will be extended).



STEM "LETS'S BUILT IT" CLUB - This club will be held on Wednesdays on the following dates: Oct 15th, 22nd, 29th, Nov 5th, 12th, 19th, Dec 3rd and 10th from 3:30-4:40pm.

CREATIVITY CLUB (Grades 3-5) -  Each session in this is club is made up of a brief mini-lesson on an art concept and then working on a different concept each month. Some of the skills we will be focusing on are poing perspective drawings, clay sculptures, oil paintings, acrylic paintings, paper mache sculptures, scratch art, tooling foil and oil pastels. This club will be held on Thursdays beginning October '14  through May '15 from 3:30-5:00pm. 



QUR'AN CLUB (Grades PK-5) - The focus of this club is to provide lessons with differentiation according to the child's ability. This club will be held on Fridays on the following dates: Sept. 26th, Oct. 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, Nov. 7th, 14th & 21st.

YEARBOOK CLUB (Grades 4-5) - The goal of this club is to enhance student's creativity, organization skills, and planning. Students will be creating Hadi School's yearbook for the 2014-2015 school year. This club will be held on Tuesdays on the following dates: Oct. 1st, 28th, Nov. 25th, Dec. 16th, Jan. 6, 20th, Feb. 3, 17th, and then weekly starting Mar. 3rd through May 5th.



Navy blue uniform hijabs are available for purchase in the office. High quality Lycra 2-piece Al Amira hijabs - $8 each. Easy to wear, breathable, silky and stretchy - no pilling or wearing.

Accent bands are also available for purchase in navy blue or khaki - $2 each.
